Cover Supervisor

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our established, dynamic and friendly Cover Team. The role of the Cover Team is to support teaching staff by covering short-term absences across our large and successful school.
35 hours, Term time plus 5 training days
Monday: 08:15-15:30
Tuesday: 08:15-16:30
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 08:10-15:30
with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
Scale 5 (point 12) – FTE £26,421 (actual salary £21,436 pa)
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our established, dynamic and friendly Cover Team. The role of the Cover Team is to support teaching staff by covering short-term absences across our large and successful school.
We are looking for adaptable, proactive individuals who can contribute to maintaining standards, by providing support to teaching departments and the whole school.
The successful applicants will be required to cover a range of subject lessons across a school day (experience of leading sports activities maybe an advantage) or provide administrative support as directed by their line manager.
This post would a fantastic opportunity for those looking to gain classroom experience in preparation for a future teaching career. Equally this position may suit Teaching Assistants looking to move from classroom support to whole class supervision, individuals who come from a coaching background or have lead student support programs.
