Cromwell Academy is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Reception team as a Level 1 Teaching Assistant (SEND Focus) to assist in promoting the learning and personal development of pupils with SEND to enable them to make best use of educational opportunities available to them.

Contract type: Permanent, 27.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 08.45 am - 15.15 pm, with an hour unpaid break, 38 weeks per year (term time only)
Salary: Level 1, Points 2–3, Namely £17,320- £17,591 (FTE £24,413- £24,796)
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience of working in a school
- Be passionate about supporting children with special educational needs
- Have a confident grasp of Maths and English to enable them to lead maths and English interventions
- Have experience teaching phonics
- Support the wellbeing of all children with patience and understanding
- Be passionate about providing the best opportunities for our children
- Work well in a team, use their own initiative and be committed to their own professional development
- Be flexible and adaptable
- Be highly organised and efficient
