School Administrative Assistant (GBA)

Godmanchester Bridge Academy is seeking a well-organised, enthusiastic and motivated School Administrative Assistant to join their team.

Working Pattern: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 12.30pm, 39 weeks per year (term time + 5 INSET days)

Salary: Scale 3 Points 5 – 6, namely £10,895 - £11,077 per annum (FTE £23,500 - £23,893)

Closing date: Midday Monday 22nd July 2024

We are seeking a suitable person with appropriate experience to join our established office team. The right character, team spirited with a strong belief in good customer service, the ability to keep calm and be prepared for almost anything will be important attributes for this position.

The school office is a very busy and fast-paced environment, where the requirements and needs of the staff and children regularly change with short notice, so the successful candidate will need the ability to be flexible and have strong multi-tasking skills.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have strong interpersonal skills and be discreet with information
  • Have a willingness to learn and display initiative to prioritise tasks and multi-task
  • Work as a team member and have strong communication skills
