DEPUTY ATTENDANCE OFFICER (MATERNITY COVER)

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding individual to join our Attendance Team.  Reporting to the Attendance Lead, you will be expected to deliver an effective attendance service to ensure the safety and well-being of our students.

Contract type: Maternity Cover - 37 hours per week, 38 weeks per year
Salary: Scale 5 (range 12-17), FTE (range £26,421-£28,770), actual salary: (range £22,497-24,498)


Deputy Attendance Officer (Maternity Cover)


We are seeking to appoint an outstanding individual to join our Attendance Team.  Reporting to the Attendance Lead, you will be expected to deliver an effective attendance service to ensure the safety and well-being of our students.  You will be required to plan and lead attendance interventions to remove barriers to good attendance and be able to effectively deputise for the Attendance Lead when necessary.  You will engage with stakeholders regarding attendance related issues and follow up on attendance action.

The successful candidate is likely to have experience of working in a school environment and knowledge of school attendance legislation.  Attention to detail is essential to ensure registers are accurately completed and that all legal and operational processes are adhered to.  Experience of Arbor MIS is an advantage.
